Halston Group’s deeply invested in green and clean technology. We’re in awe of the immensely transformative power they’re having, and will have, across a whole bunch of sectors. Our inaugural GreenTech Catalyst Conference (GCC) aims to showcase, champion, and propel, that potential. And we’d love for you to be there!
We’re putting some of the most disruptive GreenTech names in the same room as the sector’s leading investors and supporting functions, giving you the opportunity to ask those tip-of-your-tongue questions. The GCC will be taking place at Nexus, University of Leeds’ hub for trail-blazing entrepreneurs and innovators (and ground-breaking innovation assemblies!). Where it Started: The GreenTech Report
They say you can’t rush a good thing, and we agree! It was back in 2022 that our interest in the global GreenTech market really catapulted to new heights. Mixing niche research on the sector’s current and up-and-coming technologies with insight from interviews with 10 leading experts, and our GreenTech Report, ‘Entering the GreenTech Era’, came to life.
The investigative paper is a compelling read, even if we do say so ourselves. But we felt the awe-inspiring conversations we were having with its collaborators weren’t enough as words in a report alone. We want you to be able to experience the passion, foresight, and inspiration we were privy to, too. Hence, the GCC – essentially an in-person version of the paper!

The conversation around climate change tells us we need to act now – time is precious, and it’s running out. So, we’ve split the conference into two targeted sessions to make sure the time you put into attending is time well spent.
Morning Session: Igniting Innovation

Igniting Innovation: What to Expect
Our morning session is crafted for start-ups, scale-ups, and SMEs working in the GreenTech and CleanTech arenas. The theme’s ‘Igniting Innovation’, so it’s only right that we’ve got a triple-whammy of GreenTech CEOs to make up the opening workshop!
9:30am to 10:45am: GreenTech Growth Workshop

10:50am to 11:40am: Attracting Finance
What does it take to raise investment for your GreenTech? How can you propel your funding journey? These are just two of the finance-y questions we’ll be putting to the panel (details coming soon!). Get ready to absorb advice and ask those all-important questions to get those pennies dropping!
11:45am to 12:25pm: Business Support
We’re getting the policy makers involved in this one, focussing on the business initiatives that exist to support growing business and the type of support that should be on your radar. Hear from the likes of the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Programme Manager, Dale Woods, among more speakers to be let out the bag soon!
Afternoon Session: Empowering Transformation
Forward to the afternoon, and we’ve curated a session that speaks the language of any business in the heavy industry sector looking to implement GreenTech or CleanTech solutions into their operations. Think: first-hand insight from your industry peers on what it’s like to implement and use GreenTech, and a dose of solution inspiration!

Get ready to rock, with an afternoon of cutting-edge insight on the technologies that are live on the market now. Plus, everything you need to know about grants and funding schemes for your business’s investment in GreenTech solutions! Be involved with:
1. Discussions from leaders in energy-intensive industries as they share their insights on developing holistic, sustainable practices

1:05pm to 2:20pm: Elevating Your Sustainable Practices
We’re diving straight in with an opening workshop on energy-hungry industries, and how your business can adopt greener solutions for a more sustainable future. Collaborate with:

Hear from a mix of innovative technology providers about their journeys to making technology that’s supercharging industry to more sustainable approaches across the board. With C3’s Co-Founder, Ash Wray, confirmed as one of the speakers during this session, you know it’s going to be a valuable one! We’ll be diving into how you can apply for funding, grants, and support for implementing GreenTech in your business.
